Haemonetics, a blood management company in Massachusetts, had no record of client success stories for sales and marketing purposes. They hired me to create a book of 20 case studies. I conducted all interviews with global clients, from which I wrote the case studies in a classic format of Challenge | Solution | Results | Testimonial.

I was lead writer for all new sales materials for the entire Haemonetics product line. This collateral included a "master" booklet and individual brochures for about a dozen individual products. The copy was also adapted for use on the updated company website.

This 40-page booklet received the American Medical Association's International Award of Excellence in the Sales Promotion & Professional Education category. I worked closely with the Executive Editor and Account Manager to develop story angles, independently scheduled and conducted all interviews, and wrote all of the stories.

Amgen hired me to help them launch two quarterly newsletters for their national sales staff for the Oncology and Nephrology divisions. I worked with the Executive Editor to develop story ideas, conducted all research and interviews, and wrote all of the stories for each
6-page issue. I was also invited to monthly national sales meetings to keep up to date with events, best practices, trial results, and other important information that would be key to communicate to the field.

For the past 7 years, I have been writing long-form blog posts for SmartSense By Digi, a Boston-based technology company specializing in digital temperature monitoring for the pharmacy industry. I conduct all of the research and write all of the content for approximately 50% of all the posts on the blog. Working with the Content Manager, we brainstorm ideas for posts that I later fully develop.

At Amgen, I wrote and edited copy for a variety of brochures on topics including product, disease and training education; invitations to participate in clinical trials; and resources the company offered to physicians, nurses, pharmacies, and patients.
